Report copyright or unlawful content

You can report content on Map Maker, published web maps or the Odisea mobile apps without an account. This includes image-rights infringements, privacy violations and other suspected unlawful content.

Send your report to [email protected] with the subject "Odisea content report". You may also use our contact formif you do not have an email application configured.

What to include

  1. The exact page or image URL. For mobile content, include the app, tour or map name and stop, plus a screenshot or other details that let us find the specific item.
  2. Why you believe the content is unlawful. For copyright, identify the protected work and explain your rights or authority to represent the rights holder, with source links or supporting evidence where available.
  3. Your name and an email address where we can contact you. Special legal exceptions to identification requirements remain available.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.

Do not send unnecessary identity documents or sensitive information. Being shown in a photo does not necessarily make you its copyright owner; you can still report a privacy or other rights concern and explain the relevant circumstances.

How reports are handled

We review reports and supporting information, may ask for clarification, and take appropriate action. When we obtain the relevant knowledge of unlawful content, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access. Where contact details are available, we acknowledge receipt and communicate our decision and available remedies. Reporting does not guarantee removal, and we consider the rights of all affected parties.

Affected uploaders are informed of restrictions and reasons where required by law. To challenge a decision, reply to the notification or email us with the content reference, the decision and your supporting evidence. Statutory and court remedies remain available. We may restrict accounts for serious or repeated infringement in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Report details are used for investigation and decision communications as described in the Privacy Policy. This page is not an emergency service; contact the appropriate emergency authorities for an immediate threat to safety.
